Clear terms for custom work

Terms &
conditions.

Effective 20 August 2026

These terms explain how quotations, payment, proofs, production, collection, delivery and installation work. Sending a quote cart does not create an order; the order is confirmed through direct communication and acceptance of the final quotation.

01

Quotations and website prices

Prices are shown in South African rand. The amount in the quote cart is based on the selected product specification and current website price list. It is not a final invoice.

Stylistic Industry will confirm the final written quotation before work begins. Design, extra revisions, delivery, transport, installation, special materials, urgent production or non-standard work may be added where applicable and will be disclosed for approval.

02

Full payment before production

Unless Stylistic Industry agrees otherwise in writing, the full confirmed quotation—100% of the approved amount—must be received and cleared before production starts. No website submission is a payment or proof of payment.

Production will not begin from a screenshot, pending transfer, or quote-cart submission. Any written credit or staged-payment arrangement agreed separately will take precedence for that specific order.

03

Artwork, wording and proof approval

The customer must check the proof carefully, including spelling, names, dates, phone numbers, colours, layout, measurements, quantities and placement. Written approval confirms that the proof is ready for production.

Changes requested after approval may require a new quotation and may affect the delivery date. Stylistic Industry will correct production that materially differs from the approved proof, subject to inspection and applicable consumer law.

04

Files, ownership and permission

The customer confirms that they own or have permission to use every logo, photograph, font, trademark, design and other file supplied. The customer remains responsible for third-party intellectual-property claims arising from supplied content.

The customer grants Stylistic Industry the limited permission needed to edit, reproduce and manufacture the approved work. Editable source files and unused concepts remain Stylistic Industry property unless their transfer is included in writing.

05

Design fees and revisions

Design and revision charges depend on the product and are shown on the relevant price guide or final quotation. A change means a customer-requested adjustment after the first design or proof has been supplied.

Major redesigns, new concepts, recreated logos, image sourcing, copywriting, file repair and extra proofs may be priced separately before the additional work begins.

06

Colour, materials and tolerances

Screen colours, printed colours and material finishes can differ. Reasonable variations may also occur between print runs, materials and manufacturing batches. Exact colour matching is only included if expressly quoted and supported by an agreed physical reference.

Finished dimensions, trimming, placement and installation may carry normal production tolerances. We will select materials suited to the stated use, but service life also depends on exposure, surface condition, cleaning and maintenance.

07

Turnaround and deadlines

Turnaround estimates begin after the final quotation is accepted, full payment clears, final artwork is approved, and all required information and materials are available. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless confirmed as such in writing.

Stock shortages, weather, site access, supplier delays, power interruptions, courier delays and customer changes may affect completion. We will communicate material delays as soon as reasonably possible.

08

Changes, cancellations and custom goods

Made-to-order goods are produced to the customer's specifications. A change-of-mind cancellation may not be possible after design, material procurement or production has begun. Any recoverable refund will take account of authorised work already completed and non-returnable materials.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.

09

Collection, delivery and installation

The customer must provide an accurate address, responsible contact person and safe access. Delivery, transport and installation charges are confirmed in the final quotation. Failed delivery or installation caused by incorrect details, unsafe conditions or unavailable access may be charged again.

The customer must inspect collected or delivered goods as soon as reasonably possible and report visible damage or discrepancies promptly. Installation dates may move when weather or site conditions make safe work impractical.

10

Customer-supplied garments and materials

When customers supply garments or other items for branding, they must be clean, suitable for the selected process and accurately counted. We take reasonable care, but different fabrics, coatings, age and prior treatment can react differently to heat, ink, adhesive or handling.

Any special or high-value item should be disclosed before work begins so that the parties can agree on an appropriate process and responsibility in writing.

11

Personal information and uploaded files

Contact details, addresses and uploaded files are used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, produce approved work, arrange fulfilment and keep transaction records. We aim to collect only information reasonably needed for those purposes and to protect it with appropriate safeguards.

Information may be processed by service providers used for website forms, email, file delivery, payment, production or transport. To request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email sales@stylisticindustry.com.

12

Portfolio use and confidentiality

Unless confidentiality is requested in writing before production, Stylistic Industry may photograph completed work and show it in a portfolio, on the website or on social media. We will not deliberately publish confidential business material supplied only for production.
